Shimu, 23, works in a clothing factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Faced with difficult conditions at work, she decides to start a union with her co-workers. Despite threats and disapproval Shimu is determined to go on.
Walls of resistance arise when a woman attempts to protect her garment factory co-workers from harm, in this piercing indictment of exploitative labour practices and the global trade supporting them. Together the women fight and find a way.
